Lemon launches Aspire A1 Android phone

for Rs 14,999

Lemon Mobile, an Indian mobile phone brand, has launched a new Android Smartphone with Lemon Aspire A1 priced at Rs 14,999. The Lemon Aspire A1 comes with a 5.3 inch capacitive IPS touch display with a 550 x 960 pixel resolution. The display has been made with the use of Zero gap technology that promises better touch sensitivity and also better glare free display.

Also the Lemon Aspire A1 comes with a capacitive stylus with a port in the phone itself to hold the stylus, which is a very good thing. Stylus also gets sufficient thickness which should aid grip.

The Lemon Aspire A1 is powered with a Dual core processor running at 1GHz. There is a 1 GB of RAM along with 4 GB of internal storage out of which 1.93 MB will be user available. The device also features an expandable storage capacity of up to 32GB with the use of Micro SD cards. The Lemon Aspire A1 is powered with the dated Google Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, given that there are many smartphones available with Android 4.1 even Android 4.2 this certainly is a negative aspect of the phone.

The Lemon Aspire A1 sports an 8 Megapixel rear camera with Flash and a 2 MP front camera. The Lemon Aspire A1 also supports HD video recording at 30 frames/second.

The Lemon Aspire A1 carries beautiful styling that is one of the stand out features in the device but Lemon has priced the phone a way bit too high at Rs 14,999, specially since similar product from Micromax with its Canvas Doodle is priced at Rs 12,500 only, Spice also has a quad core phone with same display size and latest version of Android in Pinnacle Pro in the same price bracket as Lemon Aspire A1.

iOS 6.0.2 Causing iPhone 5, iPad Mini

Battery Drain

Apple released an update to iOS 6 geared directly toward the iPhone 5 and iPad Mini since both devices seem to have had issues with Wi-Fi. Now just two days later, users are reporting the batteries on their iPhone 5 and iPad Mini have been draining even faster than before.
Many users are complaining about the issue on Twitter. So far there’s no word from Apple about this issue, but they need to fix this quickly. iOS 6.1 is pretty close to being released anyway, so hopefully we have a fix soon.
No one wants to shell out all of that money for a phone and have problems like this.

It will come in three different colors: black, red and silver. This docking station is versatile, with different ways for you to hook up your smartphone, like wireless or Bluetooth 3.0. Or even an old fashioned 3.5mm cable.

It looks like this Samsung audio docking station will make an appearance at CES or MWC, in January and February, with a store release sometime in the first quarter of 2013.

IntelliPaper Is a Paper USB Drive

Posted by Unknown | 11/24/2012 11:00:00 am Categories:

IntelliPaper Is a Paper USB Drive

I’ve seen some thin flash drives that use USB ports for power over the years. I think the thinnest of ever seen maybe the new intelliPaper flash drive that recently launched. These little flash drives put the USB connectors and the storage chips in a thin piece of paper.

I think it’s impressive that they can fit NAND flash storage and the USB contacts onto a normal piece of paper. This opens the door for people to be able to use the little flash drives as wedding invitations, event tickets, gift cards, and just about anything else you can think of.
The company behind intelliPaper is seeking to raise $300,000 to bring the product to market through Indiegogo. Through the funding program if you pledge at least $100 you get your own USB writer and a stack of 10 of the little paper flash drives ranging in capacity from 8 to 32 MB. Note, that capacity is in megabytes so these are small capacity devices.

ZTE Grand X Pro Leaked

Evleaks has leaked a smartphone allegedly from ZTE, going by the name of Grand X Pro. Unfortunately, we don’t have many details about the phone. However, we can determine some things from the photo itself.

It’s obviously running Android and it is on the large side, probably around 4.7-inches or so. And it looks nice and slim. That’s all we have on this one.
It might be a more advanced version of the Grand X LTE, launched last year, which features a 4.3-inch display with a 960 x 540 resolution, a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and Android 4.0.
